Are you entitled to compensation?

Regardless of being licenced to work in the industry your employer is obliged by law to provide relevant training for what you are being asked to do. If part of your duties involve removing people from the premises have you been trained how to do this properly?

    • Are there procedures in place? Were you given procedures to follow in a bottle or glass situation, or to follow if threatened by a drug addict with a needle?
    • Were you trained in conflict management/descalation techniques?
    • Were you supplied with PPE, radios, earpieces?
    • Did you receive any instruction in basic self-defence?
    • Did your co-workers compromise your Safety?
